Rotate controls
These controls allow you to rotate the picture by 90 degrees or to any arbitrary angle.
Rotate 90º counter clockwise or clockwise
Many pictures from scanners and digital cameras initially appear on their side. E.g. when you've taken a portrait picture with a camera, when transferred to the computer this will usually appear as an image on its side. Use these controls to rotate the image to restore it to its normal upright position.
Hover over the rotate icon to display the rotate dialog.
The recommended way to freely rotate the image is to simply drag on the picture while the Rotate dialog is on screen.
